01 Plato - RepublicIn Plato’s Republic the discussion arises over the importance of Art in society. The philosophers come to a decision that Art is indeed bad for a society, that it leads the people from the truth and towards confusion and disorder. They went as far to say that the Arts should be controlled by the philosopher government, so that what the people were able to see (and think!?!) was censored.  The philosophers came to this decision by realising that art is seven hundred and twenty nine times removed from the truth. The truth being God and all that God creates and represents.  The way that they came about this revelation is this:  &n 01 Plato - Republic

01 - PrefaceLovely community,   
this is our first issue of our magazine. We want reach you with our articles, reach you to think about and discuss it. We make it in form of deviations - so you can use the critiques to discuss with each other and with us, tell us ideas and thoughts. WTF - EssayWhat the heck for is this group? who want to discuss boring things like politics? Good Question. The Reason for founding that group is simple:   
1. Make the young people sensible for politician things-> They rule our life.  2. Exchange thoughts and views to learn more, see all sides of a problem.  3. To discuss things means to proof your own opinion.   
If you want change something you have to know your tools. And today the tools are the politic and the community. So watch out and think a lot. Our wish is that this community will get great and will learn from each other. Why we made this on dA and not on a norma WTF - Essay

do you still require a subscription for pophdi? ~SerbiaAndMonteNegro is throwing a contest for 3 month subscription on the theme "a short story about love". perhaps we, as a community, could do something on that theme and get us a subscription for 3 months? if they would allow to us to run as a community though.

it's just an idea, but in our club there are quite a few talented artists, so i thought we could scrap something and win the prize :)

hmmm... we can make a story, a poem, a photography, a drawing. we have some very talented people here, but we should get a love story/poem writer to advise us on the themathics. i came upon this by a chance =The-Heart perhaps we could find some help here?
